The course is a beach start from Marengo Beach heading 100m straight out through the surf and turning left around a clearly positioned buoy. Continue east to the second buoy located 200m off Point Bunbury Bunbry, then past another buoy a further 200m east, before turning left and heading for the 4th buoy, 100m east of the Apollo Bay Harbour entrance. From here you will be able to see the Apollo Bay Surf Lifesaving Club and the finish line, a 30m run up the beach with your craft.
